My journey into the world of wine began with a love of Constantia’s storied vineyards and a fascination with the harmony of science, nature, and artistry in every bottle. I hold a PhD in Viticulture from Stellenbosch University, where I taught and researched terroir, and have since explored wine regions across the globe while contributing to international conferences and industry boards.

My expertise has been recognized with the Decanter Americas Award for WSET Level 3 and by induction as Chevalier de la Confrérie des Entonneurs Rabelaisiens de Chinon (2003) and Chevalier de l’Ordre du Sacavin, Angers (2008).

Now based in the Okanagan Valley, I share this passion through curated wine tasting experiences that blend expertise with storytelling—inviting you to discover the remarkable alchemy of nature, culture, and craft in every glass in the comfort of your home.
