Kelsey Serwa’s accomplishments in the sport of Ski Cross include 2018 Olympic Champion, 2014 Olympic Vice-Champion, 2011 World Champion, two-time X-Games Champion as well as eight-time World Cup winner.

Kelsey demonstrated incredible determination and perseverance fighting from a succession of knee surgeries to stand on the Olympic podium at Sochi 2014 where she won silver behind teammate Marielle Thompson for Canada’s record third 1-2 finish of the Games.

After taking the 2014-15 season off to allow her body to recover fully, Serwa was once again a force to be reckoned with in 2015-16, highlighted by her victory at the Winter X Games. But she encountered more injury trouble in December 2016 when she overshot a jump in training, damaging the cartilage in her knee due to the extreme impact on landing. She underwent surgery, ending her season. Serwa started the 2017-18 season with a third-place finish at the World Cup season-opener in Val Thorens, France for her 19th career World Cup podium.

At the PyeongChang 2018 Olympics Winter Games Serwa won gold ahead of teammate Brittany Phelan with silver making it the 2ndconsecutive 1-2 finish and the 3rd consecutive time that Canada has won this event since introduced in Vancouver 2010.

Serwa grew up in Kelowna, B.C. where her grandfather was a co-founder of her local hill, Big White Ski Resort.

Mike Shaw, a UBC Okanagan alumni and accomplished coach, comes to us from a background in action sports and freestyle skiing. Following a severe skiing accident in 2013, Mike had to leave the sport and the career he loved. Leaving behind the career path you are passionate about is difficult, but Mike has picked himself up. Now he’s taken what he’s learned from his experience and is helping others.

Mike is an entrepreneur, thought-leader, and coach. He’s the Co-Founder of HeadStartPro Performance Training and is a subject matter expert in performance coaching and injury prevention. He’s developed strategies that use positive psychology to help people achieve their full potential and excel in the face of adversity.

In Mike’s talks, he shares a gracious perspective that will motivate you and leave you with an unforgettable learning experience.

When you look at Faith’s credentials, time spent in the trenches combined with dedication to mastering new things, the places she’s gone and the things that she’s done, you might think “Wow! This woman is pretty impressive”. But that is nothing compared to actually meeting her in person, feeling her presence and being influenced by the pervasive message of ‘how to be your best self every day’ that is threaded through every interaction, every talk, every keynote presentation.

Faith has a gift for connecting with each person in her audience, leaving them thinking that she is talking to them and them alone. She makes each person feel as though they are the most important one; and she has them believing that they, personally, can move the mountains necessary to step forward, step up and make a significant difference in their own lives and the lives of others.

Communication and conflict consultant, language and persuasion maven, award winning novelist and expert storyteller only begin to tell the story of Faith Wood.

Going a little deeper, you find a former Peace Officer who mastered the power of persuasion first hand in the field, a teacher of practical communication and influence strategies for captivated audiences in government, associations and organizations in over 7 countries.

She holds the acclaimed CPS or certified professional speaker designation which says everything about her dedication to the art and craft of audience capture but says little of how entertaining Faith is as she practices her art and her craft. The vitally important underlying thread of ‘building community around you’ is woven throughout her engaging keynotes and workshop trainings.

Sherry Lukey with Tap Your Crap is an expert in the art of “Crap” detection. That being crap showing up in the form of limiting beliefs. Sherry is a Professional Speaker, Certified Advanced EFT/Tapping and Matrix Reimprinting Practitioner. Her presentations are fast-moving, enjoyable and entertaining. Sherry teaches a series of techniques and methodologies in a fun, “no-crap” style, with a combination of experiences, insights and humour that audiences can take away with them. Her ability to create a safe and comfortable environment allows attendees to have profound insights into what’s holding them back; this enables them to form new supportive beliefs about themselves and the world so that they can get better results in their business and lives.

Audiences have described Sherry’s presentations “like she is speaking directly to you and you are the only one in the room” and “she holds the space for you that anything is possible” and “life-changing.”
