Min Sidhu was named 2011 Woman of the Year from among ten outstanding women honoured Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the 24th annual Woman of the Year gala evening, spearheaded by Vernon Women in Business. Countless non-profit organizations have benefited from Min Sidhu’s personal and professional commitment during the fourteen years (and three MLA’s) she has administered Vernon Monashee constituency office. Min’s ability to find and maintain funding has enabled Vernon Transition House, Junction Literacy, Kindale Development, Okanagan Science Centre, Salvation Army and Upper Room Mission to fulfill their roles in our community through. Arriving 18 years ago from London, England, Min and her husband Sid began their family business Bella Vista Farm Market and raised three beautiful daughters.
